Introduction
Welcome to the Encryptex Pro Version 2.0.5 Help System.  In this section we will be covering the following topics:

Properly Installing Encryptex
This subsection will cover the most important thing to remember when installing Encryptex Pro v2.0.5.  If you're having technical difficulties with Encryptex and you think your problems stem from making some changes to the default installation, try reinstalling Encryptex and change nothing during set-up time.

The number one cause of problems when running Encryptex is changing the default folder in which Encryptex Pro v2.0.5 is installed to.  It is very important not to change the path c:\ectv20 when installing.  Because of security reasons, Encryptex has been coded to work properly out of the previously stated folder only.

If you need further assistance with troubleshooting errors with Encryptex Pro v2.0.5, please refer to the Troubleshooting Guide found in the main menu of our help system.

Getting Started with Encryptex
When you run Encryptex, you are first prompted to enter your access password. The default password for Encryptex is exactly as shown: factory

Then press the "Enter" key on your keyboard or click the "Enter" button.

You'll need to enter your password each time you launch Encryptex.  This safety measure restricts access to your copy of Encryptex, so that noone other than yourself may begin encrypting data on your hard drive, or accessing any of the other utilities within the Encryptex Pro v2.0.5 suite.

**NOTE** The first thing you should do after launching Encryptex for the first time is to change your access password.  You can find instructions for this process in the next section of the help system main menu.
