| What
is Onux anyway?. Onux is a turbo charged, open
ended collection of security tools designed with the intent for users
to manage their user data and communications in privacy. Onux is
the result of more than 4 years of research and development in the security
software industry.
If you have ever watched
the news, read a newspaper or listen to the radio, you would know all
too well that computer security and privacy has become a serious
issue in the world. Onux has been developed to fill the security void
where most security softwares for the Microsoft Windows operating system,
fail. Instead of developing a system that only we think is important,
we let the users decide what they want in a security tool and have implemented
most of their ideas and threw in a stack of our own ideas.
This is
the final release of the first
version of Onux. This version of Onux offers a complete set
of tools for users of all skill levels. Whether you're a novice that can
barely turn on your computer, or a complete computer nerd that understands
the binary language of moisture evaporators, you'll be able to use Onux the
fist time you try it.
Onux now offers two
interfaces to accomodate users of all skill levels. The Simple Mode
Interface has been designed for anyone that does not wish to learn a new
software package. The Advanced Mode Interface is still a significant
part of Onux and has a healthy list of upgrades since the first release.
